Pete Thomson
Deputy Executive Director
As 人妻少妇专区鈥檚 Deputy Executive Director,聽Pete oversees 人妻少妇专区鈥檚 publications and communications, including The New Physician magazine and Weekly Consult newsletter, and works with Communications and Marketing Department staff members and consultants on the 人妻少妇专区 website and social media channels. Pete also works closely with other members of 人妻少妇专区鈥檚 senior staff on strategy and management decisions.
Pete started at 人妻少妇专区 as TNP‘s associate editor in 2004. Before joining the 人妻少妇专区 staff, Pete wrote for the Syracuse Post-Standard, Travel Today Egypt and Arabia magazines, and was associate editor for news wire services at the Federal Document Clearing House. He holds a master’s degree in magazine, newspaper and online journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, an A.B. in history from Davidson College, and a superfluous certificate of intermediate Arabic language studies from the American University in Cairo. Pete lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his spouse, Melissa, their son, and some plants.
